RecipeView, at the
moment, is currently self supported by the ads we place on various pages
throughout the site. However, many of you have requested a better way to
view pages because you have a slow dial up connection or just like to
browse faster. Obviously, we can't just remove the ads or the site would
disappear. We need the income to pay for the server and bandwidth costs.
For this reason, we have
evaluated our click through rate for advertising against the amount of
visitors and came up with a Paid Membership Plan. We have also redone
the site to include more features and make your Personal Recipe collection
run much quicker.
To sweeten the deal as a Paid
Member, you not only remove all the ads to increase speed, you get several
other options that Free Members do not get.
1- You can search
within your own collection.
2- You can click one button to select any of our recipes and
add it
directly into your own collection.
3- In the Message section, you get a drop down list of all members as
apposed to remembering your contact.
4- You can send a message to all Members in one shot.
5- You can Create PDF E-books of your selected recipes, right on-line

6- In Block/Unblock Members, you get a list of all Members with
messages turned on.
7- Besides the regular shopping list that generates itself from the
recipes you select and separate ingredients you add, you get
10 more shopping lists including
Baby Needs, Books, Camera and Photo, Computer and Video, DVD, Electronics,
Magazines, Music, Software, and Tools and Hardware.
8- Since all the ads are gone,
you take over the left menu and add all the personal links you want.
9- Load your Instant
Message Popup and browse our ads or visit other sites and still receive a
notification of any new messages. You will be reminded, once every minute
with three audible new message sounds.
10- You can download
all 230 of our recipe e-books. (Normally $5.00 each. That's $1,150 in
total.)
We are not permitted to
divulge our ad traffic click through income due to advertiser user
agreements but we have come up with a solution that we can both live with.
Since we have added many more
features including our Points Promotion, E-book Creation,
Shopping List Generator, Message Center, etc., we expect that
income to climb drastically. However, we are prepared to offer paid members
a deal.
