Title:  American Chop Suey Or Chow Mein

Ingredients: 
4 Servings

-DEE PENROD FGGT98B
1 can Bean sporuts, drained 1 lb
1/4 cup Butter
1 can Mixed Chinese vegetables
2 cup meat, Cooked
-1 pound can
-Pork/beef/veal/chicken
2 Tbl -Cold water
1 Medium Onion, cut in chunks
2 Tbl -Cornstarch
2 cup Celery, diced
1 Tbl -Soy sauce
1 Tsp -Salt
1 Tsp -Sugar
1/4 Tsp Msg, desiriable option
1 Tbl Brown gravy sauce, If you
1 dash -pepper
-want dark brown sauce
1 1/2 cup -Hot water


Method of Preparation: 
Melt butter in skillet. Add onion and cook for 3 minutes. Add celery, salt, pepper and hot water. Cover and cook for 5 minutes. Add bean sprouts or mixed Chinese vegetables and meat. Mix thoroughly and cook 5 minutes. Combine thickening and flavoring ingredients; add to meat mixture. Stir lightly and cook for 1 minute. Serve hot with cooked rice for Chop Suey or with chow mein noodles for Chow Mein. Flavor individual servings servings with soy sauce to desired taste.
