Title: Barbara Levins Bananas Strawberry Jello Mold
Ingredients: 8 Servings
-pat dwigans fwds07a
3 3 oz pkgs strawberry jello
2 1/2 Cup Water
2 10 oz pkgs, Frozen
Strawberries, thawed
1 20 oz can pineapple, Crushed
With juice
4 To 5 bananas, Sliced
2 Cup Sour cream (or yoghurt)
Fresh fruit for garnish
Method of Preparation: Dissolve the jello in boiling water. Add the strawberries and canned pineapple and mix together. Put 1/2 the mixture into a greased 2 quart mold. Refrigerate until almost set. place bananas on top of mold. Spoon the sour cream on top of the banana, leveling with a knife. Add the remaining jello mixture. Refrigerate overnight. When ready to serve, unmold and garish with fresh fruit. |
