Title:  Lorri's Beef Stew

Ingredients: 
1 1/2 lb lean stew beef
1 T paprika
2 t five spice powder
2 garlic cloves, crushed
1 T olive oil
2 T margarine
1 medium coarsely chopped onion
2 medium bell peppers, diced
1 15 oz can tomato sauce
1 15 oz can whole corn
1 can beef broth or beef consomme
1/4 cup water
2 T cornstarch
2 T soy sauce
1 1/2 cups cooked noodles, your choice
Method of Preparation: 
Cut beef into bite size cubes, remove any fat or gristle that is still on it. Sprinkle with paprika and allow to stand while preparing other ingredients.
Cook steak and garlic in oil and margarine until meat is brown.
Add onions and peppers; continue cooking until vegetables are wilted.
Add tomato sauce, broth,m corn, five spice powder; cover and simmer 45 minutes.
Blend water with cornstarch and soy sauce, stir into steak and cook until thickened.
Add cooked noodles, serve with toasted garlic bread, rolls, biscuits or corn bread.
Serves 4, or you can stretch this by using more cooked pasta.
