Title: Cajun Lovers' Pasta Bowl
Ingredients:
6 Servings

2 LB heart-shaped pasta, cooked
4 Oz butter
1/4 cup onions, Diced
2 Tbl garlic, Minced
1/2 cup red bell pepper, Diced
1/2 cup green bell pepper, Diced
1/2 Tsp Cajun seasoning
1 Tbl Tabasco brand Pepper Sauce
1 3/4 cups marinara sauce
1 1/2 cups Pepper Jack cheese, Shredded
Method of Preparation:
Heat butter in a large pot. Add onions, garlic, and red and green peppers. Saut covered for 10 minutes. Add marinara sauce, Cajun seasoning and Tabasco brand Pepper Sauce. Cook sauce for 20 minutes, allowing all flavors to bloom. Toss 4 cups of pasta with 1/2 cup of sauce. Top with 2 tablespoons of cheese. Dish may include toppings such as blackened chicken, shrimp, Andouille sausage, Tasso ham, catfish or other proteins. This recipe yields 6 servings for two people to share.
